Former Ambassador to the Netherlands and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Orji Ngofa has blasted those saying that the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has not attracted any Federal Government project to Rivers State.
Ngofa, in a statement over the weekend, said such persons are either ignorant or jealous of the achievements of the former governor of the state.
According, to him, Amaechi has attracted numerous projects to the state and Rivers people are happy with him.
He described Amaechi as a true leader who has the interest of Rivers people and Nigerians at heart.
“Those who say Amaechi has not brought anything home are either ignorant or jealous of his achievements,” he said.
You would recall that Governor, Nysesom Wike had in a statement on Saturday, berated Rivers politicians serving in Buhari’s cabinet, accusing them of not attracting any project to the state.
