The Chief Tony Okocha-led All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has accused a chieftain of the party and former Transportation Minister, Chibuike Amaechi of working with Atiku Abubakar to unseat President, Bola Tinubu.
Publicity Secretary of the party, Chibuike Ikenga disclosed this during an Interview with Dailypost at the weekend.
According to him, Amaechi secretly comes to Rivers State to hold meetings with his cronies at night on how to destroy the party and unseat the President.
When asked if Amaechi has a role to play in Rivers APC crisis despite his silence, he said, “Yes of course, we know where everybody belongs. He’s a member of…he’s working hand in glove with Atiku to unseat the President. We’re Rivers people. We know all that’s happening. We know ourselves. Rotimi, he comes to River State clandestinely, holds meetings at night, we get snippets of those meetings; check all his supporters, those working with him are always with Sim Fubara. Emeka Beke, who is claimed to be a functional Chairman of the party, which does not exist, is an ally of Rotimi Amaechi.”
