Former Rivers State Governor and immediate past Minister of Transport, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi says he never vowed not to support presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu for picking a Muslim as his running mate.
A chieftain of the PDP, Umar Sani had in a statement claimed that the PDP has gotten Amaechi because he (Amaechi) said he is a Catholic and will not support Muslim-Muslim ticket, noting that he was going to support PDP.
However, Amaechi in a swift response denied the claims noting that Umar Sani lied.
“He is lying. There was never any time I said anything like that” he said.
Amaechi is rumuored not to be happy with the presidential candidate of the party over his alleged romance with the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
