Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, has again taken a swipe at his predecessor, Chibuike Amaechi describing him as a shameless man who did nothing for his maternal home, Egbeda in Emouha LGA.
Speaking, during the flag-off of Akpabu-Egbeda-Omoku Link Road on Wednesday, Wike said Amaechi should thank him for developing his maternal home.
He also promised to award more contracts in the community since the former governor has no shame
“You see, your mother is from here. You didn’t seem fit or necessary to do anything for your maternal home. Now, that our mother is not from here, are doing something to help your maternal home. You say it is unnecessary, it is a waste of resources,” he said.
“When you have a bad child, he is a bad child. If he is not a bad child, he should thank us for removing shame from his face. Since you don’t have Shame, I will add more things for your maternal home,” he added.
