Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers says the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi is to blame, if there is security failure in the state.
Wike alleged that Amaechi has being the one appointing Commissioner of Police to Rivers State since 2015.
The Governor, through his media aide Kelvin Ebiri, also said Amaechi is satisfied that Security Operatives protecting lives and properties in the state, are been killed by members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra.
“Amaechi is happy that members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra are killing innocent policemen, who were protecting lives and properties,” he said.
He noted that the state government is working with relevant security agencies to ensure the protection of Rivers people.
