Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi has inspected the ongoing construction of the Port Harcourt-Maiguguri rail line.
The Minister, made this know in a post on Twitter, Today.
According to him, the contractors are working in different gangs across the line simultaneously, and that the first target is to get track-laying from Port Harcourt to Enugu completed before proceeding with the next phase.
“I just inspected the ongoing reconstruction of the Port Harcourt-Maiduguri rail line. The contractors are working in different gangs across the line simultaneously. Our first target is to get track-laying from Port Harcourt to Enugu completed, then proceed with the next phase,” he said.
