Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has hailed former governors of Rivers State, Peter Odili, and Rufus Ada George, for contributing to his political growth.

Speaking, during a Thanksgiving service by the Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium, today, Amaechi also hailed President, Muhammadu Buhari for his contributions.

“I could not have come this far without Dr Peter Odili, Rufus Ada George , President Mohammadu Buhari and God,” he said.

The immediate past Rivers Governor, also declared his intention to contest the 2023 presidential election under the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

He stated that he wants to be president because of the moral burden he has to serve the country, noting that hope is around the corner.

“I want to be President because of the moral burden I have to serve the country …to pursue prosperity for all Nigerians,” he added.
