A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze has alleged that the palliative buses commissioned by the Governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara to cushion the effect of subsidy removal were bought by former Governor of the state Chibuike Amaechi.
Eze who disclosed this in a statement said the buses were bought in 2011.
According to him, Amaechi had bought the buses when the state hosted the National Sports Festival of that year and were thereafter used to transport civil servants.
He further revealed that the buses were abandoned by the Nyesom Wike-led administration.
