Suspended Acting chairman of the EFCC Ibrahim Magu, has described allegations of financial fraud levelled against him as nonsense and false. This is because he never stole or diverted recovered loots for his personal use as chairman of the commission.
Ibrahim Magu who made this known in a chat with Journalists after he was granted bail yesterday said the allegations against him are to tarnish his reputation and that of the commission.
He said, Nigeria should not give up on the fight against corruption because corruption kills a nation faster than any other thing.
“It is not a personal fight. Whether I am EFCC Chairman or not, the anti-corruption war must continue,” he asserted.
“I thank Nigerians for their support, they should not be discouraged. I am happy to be back, I believe the war against corruption is winnable.”
