The All Progressive Congress in Rivers State, has reacted to Tuesday’s Federal High court ruling which nullified its primaries in the state.
State chairman of the party, Chief. Emeka Beke in a post on his Facebook page appealed to party faithfuls to remain calm assuring them that “all is well”.
“Dear party faithfuls, stay calm. All is well!” he said.
Earlier a federal high court granted the prayers in a suit brought before it by one Gift Orlu and four others against the All Progressive Congress in Rivers State alleging exclusion from the party’s primaries and nullified the whole exercise.
The presiding judge, Hon. Justice E. A Obile held that the persons were unlawfully excluded from the primaries, describing the process as nullity.
