The Akwa Ibom State government has announced that fans can attend the Super Eagles’ 2026 World Cup qualification match against Zimbabwe for free.

Paul Bassey, the state’s sports commissioner, confirmed on Monday that Governor Umo Eno had purchased all 30,000 tickets for the match, scheduled for Tuesday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

According to Bassey, the tickets will be distributed at various locations, including all radio stations, De Venus Bar and Restaurant on Stadium Road, Uyo Township Stadium, Plaza Management Committee Office, and previous sales agents and centers.
