Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State and Minister of NDDC, Senator Godswill Akpabio has described allegations levelled against him by former Acting MD of the NDDC, Joy Nunieh that she was sacked by him over her failure to take an Oath of secrecy, as false and baseless.
Nunieh had accused Godswill Akpabio of fraud and an attempt to take “an oath of secrecy” which was meant to keep her from exposing fraud at the commission. This was after her appearance before the Senate ad-hoc committee investigating the NDDC on Friday.
Akpabio who denied the allegations in a TV interview yesterday said “Let me just point this out, the last managing director that you mentioned, no matter the allegation, I wish she would go to a hospital, see a doctor and then get some injections and relax.”
“I am not saying something is wrong with her, I am saying something is wrong with her temperament. You don’t need to ask me, you can ask about four other husbands she married,” he asserted.
