The Rivers State Chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has said that only Local Government Chairmen with proven track records would be given a ticket for a second term.
Chairman of PDP in the state, Amb. Desmond Akawor disclosed this when a pro-wike group “Wike for Positive Change” paid him a courtesy yesterday.
The group had gone to felicitate with Desmond Akawor on his emergence as the state PDP chairman.
Akawor commended the group for their tremendous support for the party and Governor Nyesom Wike over the years.
