A video of Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, publicly rejecting the new national anthem, by refusing to stand during its recitation at a recent event is trending on social media.
Yesufu, who was sitting down during the recitation shared the video of her protest with the caption #NotMyNationalAnthem on her X account on Friday.
This comes fews days after President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law.
