Aisha Yesufu, Nigerian Female Activist, has described Governor Nyesom Wike’s threat to kill and bury members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, as “absolute nonsense.”
The Governor, had made the threat during the flag off ceremony for the construction of the Ahoada Campus of the Rivers State University on Tuesday.
“If you don’t repent, your funeral has come. You’ll die, your parents will not bury you. We’ll bury you like vultures. Either your hands will be cut off or we’ll blow your head off,” he had stated.
The outspoken activist in a post on her Twitter handle on Thursday, slammed Wike over the comment, stating that those around would have booed hiim instead of laughing sheepishly.
“How many have you killed and buried? What absolute nonsense is this? The audacity to threaten people and even brag about killing and burying!” she said.
“The people were there smiling sheepishly instead of booing him off. The arrogance of these low-grade rulers is irritating,” she added.
