The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) has placed Comfort Emmanson on its “No Fly” list, barring her from travelling on any of its member airlines, both within and outside the country, indefinitely.
AON spokesperson, Obiora Okonkwo, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, saying the decision took immediate effect and would last for life.
According to Okonkwo, the move followed repeated incidents of unruly behaviour towards airline staff, citing Emmanson’s recent altercation as well as the case involving Nigerian musician King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM 1) on ValueJet and the reported misconduct of Senator Adams Oshiomhole towards Air Peace staff.
