The Rivers State Police Command says the Pubic Relations officer of Ibu Akoh in Ahoada East Local Government Area of the state – Hector Ekeakita was arrested and not abducted as claimed in some quarters.
A group, ‘Concerned Youths of Ekpeye’ had in a statement alleged that Hector was abducted by some men in Police Uniform at a popular eatery along the East West Road, two days ago.
However, Spokesperson of the Command, SP. Grace Koko said Hector is in Police custody, but did not disclose the reason he was picked up.
