Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Council, Hon. Iyekor Ikporo has installed a free WiFi at the council secretariat to promote digital inclusion within the area.

He stated that “the free WiFi initiative is a vital step in promoting digital inclusion within Ahoada West. Its benefits to governance, education, entrepreneurship, and community engagement lay a strong foundation for the broader adoption of digital technologies in the region. This initiative positions the council as a forward-thinking institution committed to driving economic growth and innovation in the local economy.”
He also said the free WiFi enables seamless communication and coordination among council staff, promote efficiency in governance, supports e-governance platforms, allows for faster processing of documents, virtual meetings, and effective delivery of services to residents among others.
