Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon. Iyekor Ikporo has announced the dissolution of all revenue committees and taskforce teams in the area.
Chief Press Secretary of the council, Joe Esedi made this known in a statement on Wednesday.
According to him, all previously appointed teams are instructed to cease operations immediately, as any group found engaging in unauthorized revenue collection will be dealt with in accordance with the law.
He assured people of the LGA that transparent measures will soon be introduced to enhance revenue generation without undue harassment to the public.
