The Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Iyekor Ikporo, has mobilized the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) to restore power to the Local Government Headquarters and its surrounding communities ahead of the Christmas celebration.
Media aide to the Chairman, Joe Esedi disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
According to him, the gesture is to ensure that residents and businesses in the area enjoy Christmas with power supply.
