The Executive Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area, Hon Ezu Chibudhom Rizzy, has condemned strongly the renewed gruesome killings in parts of the area by yet unidentified assailants.
Hon Ezu described the killings in Edeoha and Ihuowo as barbaric, senseless and apparently designed to make the Local Government look hostile and unsuitable for gainful and lawful socio-economic activities,with a view to instilling fear in the indigenes and residents, most of whom are farmers and traders.
While calling on the traditional institution to join the local government authorities to tackle this new wave of insecurity, the Ahoada East LGA Boss has charged the Ahoada Area Police Command and other security agencies to swing into action as to fishing out the culprits who should be made to face the law.
Hon Ezu Chibudhom Rizzy assured that the council would give all necessary support (logistics and funds) to the security agencies and also assured corporate bodies of their safety in Ahoada East LGA.
