Chairman of Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State, Ben Eke says the people of the council are in happy mood on the death of dreaded and most wanted cultist Gift David popularly known as 2Baba.
Ben Eke who spoke to journalists at the state police headquarters today confirmed that the body that was recovered was that of Gift David.
The Rivers State police command today paraded the corpse of Gift David aka 2baba at the state police headquarters Moscow road.
2baba was accused of killing Ahoada East DPO Bako Amgbashim on Sept 8th last year.
Police commissioner Tunji Disu at a press briefing today said the camp of 2baba was attacked by an Aerial strike led by the Air Force on Feb 10 which gave the police and easy access into forest to launch an attack on 2baba and his men after a gun duel which left 2baba fatally injured leading to his subsequent death after escaping with injuries.
