Factional Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Hon. Igo Aguma has reacted to his suspension by the Ogbobula-led faction of the party.
Aguma in a statement yesterday, called on the general public to disregard the claims as he remains the authentic chairman of the party in the state.
He said some persons who are not members of the party cannot suspend him, as Ogbobula and his members are not known to the party.
Aguma noted that Ogbobula and his paymasters have been trying very hard to upturn the court ruling, which proclaimed him as caretaker chairman of the party in the state, but all to no avail.
He also said that he has not disobeyed the order by the National Working Committee of the party for all state, local and ward party structures to be dissolved and caretaker committees formed.
Aguma claimed that he and his team are already serving in caretaker capacities.
