Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that former minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, has no conscience over his ambition to become Nigeria’s President, while his ministry has unresolved issues.
The Presidential hopeful on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, disclosed this during a meeting in Oyo State.
According to him, it is shocking that after the Kaduna Train attack, Amaechi went ahead to pick presidential forms the next day.
Wike stated that he believes in restructuring of the country, adding that state policing is the solution to insecurity in Nigeria.
“I believe in restructuring. I believe in state police. You cannot stop insecurity in this country without state police which is the practice in all countries that run true federalism,” he said.
“Before it happens, you’ve stopped it or caged them. 42 people died in the train blast, and no concrete report until now.
“This is a country where a Minister of Transport after people died in such accident and the next day, he went and collected forms for the presidency,” he added.
