Days after suspected pirates attacked a passenger boat and abducted about 10 passengers along the Bonny-Port Harcourt waterway, another boat travelling from Kula to Abonnema was yesterday attacked.
Chairman of the Maritime Union Workers of Nigeria in Rivers State, Israel Pepple disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
According to him, the pirates were trailing the boat before they were repelled by Vigilante personnel.
He called for adequate security on the waterway as the incessant attacks now hinder movements.
