Justice Emmanuel Obile of the Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has again struck out a matter brought by APC against all the state House of Assembly candidates of the PDP in Rivers State.

The Presiding Judge in his ruling said the party has no right to meddle in the affairs of another party.

He also directed the APC to pay the sum of fifty thousand naira to the People’s Democratic Party.

The APC had dragged the PDP to court to direct INEC not to recognize the State House of Assembly candidates of PDP for allegedly violating the new electoral act.

The party claims that the PDP did not appropriately sign the register containing the names of the candidates and submitted it late to INEC.

The Judge had yesterday struck out the suit by the APC asking it to disqualify governorship candidate of the PDP, Sim Fubara from contesting next year’s election.
