Caretaker Committee Chairman of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Chijioke Ihunwo says it is a shame that the area has no good internal roads despite producing a governor for eight years.
Ihunwo said this when he visited the Paramount Ruler of Rumuekini Community, HRH, Eze Louis Amadi Wali at his palace on Friday.
According to him, the former governor ought to have done more for the people of the community and the LG in general, just as like Dr. Peter Odili did for his community Ndoni in road construction.
He also described as disappointing the fact that some persons in Obio/Akpor are still supporting the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike against the current governor of the state, Sim Fubara.
He charged the Rumuekini people to rally round the governor who is determined and focused to deliver the dividends of democracy to them and Rivers people in general.
