An illegal crude oil refining site has been discovered in Obuama Community in Oyigbo local government area of Rivers state by personnel of the Nigerian Army
General Officer Commanding (GOC), 6 Division, Major General Jamal Abdulsalam, disclosed this in a statement at the site on Thursday.
The commander who xpressed displeasure over the activities of vandals stated that the perpetrators were determined to sabotage the economy of the nation.
He revealed that the illegal site has a capacity of five million litres of crude oil.
