The Chairman of Belema Oil, Tein Jack Rich Jr. has called on host communities of oil companies to adopt intellectual approach to press home their demands rather than vandalizing oil facilities.

Mr Jackrich, made this known during the commissioning of a water treatment plant and a 1250 KVA power generating set in Idama community in Asari-Toru local government area.

He said the essence of the projects was to boost the already existing relationship between the company and the community.

According to him, he cannot allow host communities suffer as the firm is committed to ensuring the development of the area.

He commended the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation for their support and urged other oil firms to develop their communities.

He said with that host communities, firms and the government would be at peace.
