Days after the BOOT Party announced its withdrawal from the August 30 local government elections in Rivers State, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has also declared it will not participate in the polls.
The party’s spokesperson, Luckyman Igali, disclosed this in an interview with our correspondent.
The decision has sparked reactions, with some critics arguing that the Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission lacks the authority to conduct the elections.
