The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has demanded the immediate sack of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Amupitan Joash, accusing him of bias and unlawful actions that undermine opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking to journalists at the Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja on Thursday, ADC National Chairman David Mark warned that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is allegedly using INEC to weaken opposition parties and push the country toward a one-party state.
The call follows INEC’s Wednesday decision to delist key ADC figures, including David Mark and National Secretary Rauf Aregbesola, citing compliance with a court order to maintain the status quo until the trial court concludes the case.
