Popular Nigerian actress Ajara Lasisi, widely known as Aunty Ajara in the Yoruba film industry, has been buried following her passing.
Her death was confirmed on Thursday by her elder brother, Ridwan Lasisi. In line with Islamic traditions, funeral arrangements were carried out shortly after her death.
The burial rites began with the Salatul Janaza (funeral prayer), attended by family members, friends, and admirers of the late actress. She was later laid to rest by a group of male relatives, including her elder brother.
A video from the burial has since circulated online, drawing condolences from fans and colleagues across the film industry.
