Chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government Area, Owolabi Micheal, has announced the swift repair of the most dilapidated sections of the Abua road.

According to the chairman, the urgent intervention was carried out to ensure that motorists, cyclists, and other road users can now access their communities and businesses with ease.

He explained that the move became necessary following the rapid deterioration of the road, which had rendered some sections impassable in recent days.

Micheal assured residents that the ongoing repairs are temporary measures pending a comprehensive rehabilitation of the entire road.
