Chairman of Abua/Odua Local Government Area, Hon. Daniel Daniel has denied reports making the rounds that he directed his younger brother to verbally attack traditional rulers in the area.
Press Secretary to the council boss, Zenami Wariso made this known in a press statement yesterday.
He said the Chairman and his younger brother are different people, as the opinion of his brother cannot be that of his principal officer.
He stated that Hon. Daniel respects people no matter their status, and therefore cannot sponsor a verbal attack against anyone.
Wariso said those peddling the rumor should be ignored, as they are enemies of the council, bent on causing crises in the area.
