Chairman of Abua/Odual Local Government Council, Hon. Vincent Reuben Obu has promised steady electricity power supply across the 44 communities in the area.
The chairman, made this known during a meeting with traditional rulers and clan heads at the council secretariat on Thursday.
He advised traditional rulers to be steadfast and committed to the development of their communities, assuring them of his support at all times.
The chairman also said plans are underway to begin the payment of bursary to students of the area in higher institutions.
Obu, added that over a 100 plots of land which will be inaugurated by Gov. Sim Fubara will be acquired for agricultural purposes.
He also vowed to build a world class hotel in the area to help solve issues of accommodation for visitors, and reduce transportation fare from two thousand Naira to one thousand Naira.
