The Diobu Vigilante Service has called on the state government to install more street lights in the area to help them effectively fight crime and criminality.
President of the group, Amatari Bipilade made the call in a statement Today while expressing displeasure over the removal of generators powering the street lights at the newly built Ikokwu flyover.
According to him, the absence of street lights have increased crime and criminality in the area, as hoodlums now seize the opportunity to rob residents and passersby of their belongings.
