Kidnapped Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Khana Local Government Area, Mr. Hiasine Wiye has been released.
Mr. Wiye who was abducted on Sunday, regained freedom yesterday, after spending few hours with his abductors.
Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Ogbonna Nwuke had said Mr. Wiye was abducted from his home in Bori on Easter Sunday.
The party had also in a statement shortly after Wiye’s abduction, called on his abductors to release him unconditionally.
