The Rivers State Police Command, has confirmed the abduction of a reporter with Nigeria Television Authority NTA, Chidiebere Onyia.
The victim was kidnapped on Tuesday night, at the Woji axis of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of the State.
Spokesperson of the State Police Command, Nnamdi Omoni dsclosed this in a Statement in Port Harcourt, today.
Omoni said they are on top of the situation, doing everything humanly possible to ensure the release of the victim and the arrest of the abductors.
According to reports, the abductors reportedly whisked her away, after she was halted by traffic, while in a car with her colleague.
