As the countdown to the winding up of our tour of Rivers State via campaign Rallies in the Local Government Areas begins, we are pleased to publicly appreciate Rivers people, residents and friends of the State who have demonstrated unrestrained love and unprecedented acceptance of our campaigns in all the areas we have covered so far.

Yesterday, February 7, 2023, was a clear watershed. One we would never take for granted. Our governorship candidate arrived the shores of Okrika Island to a rapturous welcome from the great people of Wakirike. We appreciate every single second of the hospitality showered on Arc. Tonye Patrick Cole, Mni; Dr. Innocent Barikor, the deputy governorship candidate; the State party Chairman, Chief Emeka Beke; Director-General of our Campaign, Chief (Hon.) Ibinabo Michael-West; and the rest of our team.

We thank the new leadership of our great party in Okrika LGA under Chief Amangi Sunday for working so hard and hastening the rebuilding process. Nothing short of your industry, zeal and commitment to the rescue message Tonye Cole has preached everywhere he goes can generate the undiluted love for our governorship candidate expressed by the huge numbers of Okrikans that turned up at yesterday’s Rally at the Egweme-Biri playground.

We also thank the local Campaign Council led by Engr. Miene Senibo and our respective candidates for Rivers East senatorial district, Dr. Ndubuisi Nwankwo; Dr. Anderson Allison for the Okrika/Ogu-Bolo Federal Constituency, and Peter Ibanichuka for Okrika Constituency, Rivers State House of Assembly for working hard to connect deeply with the grassroots.

Going forward, we expect an earnest translation of this enthusiasm by Rivers people everywhere we have been to an irresistible energy that generates and protects the votes that would take Tonye Cole and all our candidates over the line on election days.

Furthermore, our Campaign Council expects that those unfortunate enemies of democracy, the peace, progress and development of our dear State who attempted to dampen our spirit with unwarranted attacks on our campaigns in Port Harcourt, Andoni, Opobo and Omuma would backtrack from their evil ways and uncivilized politics. Henceforth, let none of those who are deluded to believe they can halt the forward march of our journey through primitive terror mistake our peaceful disposition for cowardice. We warn that the consequences may be very dire.

We thank Rivers people with whom the unambiguous message and enlightened persona of our governorship candidate is resonating. We urge those still in the valley of decision to join this progressive chariot as we look forward to March 11 when Rivers people and resident voters shall trust Tonye Cole with the mandate to commence a Fresh Start for our great State and set her free from the asphyxiation of the last eight years.

Spokesman, Rivers APC 2023 Campaign Council
