Isaac Fayose, younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has publicly criticised his elder sibling, describing him as “puppy” to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.
Speaking during an appearance on News Central, Isaac Fayose alleged that the former governor is willing to go to great lengths to maintain his relationship with Wike, claiming it is driven by financial interests.
He expressed disappointment over what he described as a decline in Ayo Fayose’s political stature, noting that the former governor once operated alongside prominent figures such as President Bola Tinubu and former Rivers State Governor Peter Odili.
Isaac Fayose also made claims about political realignments within both families, revealing that Ayo Fayose’s son is seeking election into the Ekiti State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He further alleged that Wike’s son is considering contesting in the 2027 general elections under a different political party, despite both families being affiliated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
