The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Sir Chidi Lloyd, has expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work at the ongoing reconstruction and remodeling of the Emohua Legislative Assembly Complex, a key infrastructural project conceived and executed by his administration.
Sir Lloyd, who made the remarks on Tuesday during a routine inspection of ongoing projects at the council headquarters, commended the council’s works department for maintaining high standards across all project sites. He assured that funds would be made available to sustain the current momentum and ensure timely completion.
The council boss further charged the engineers handling the projects to intensify efforts to deliver both the legislative assembly complex and the ultramodern administrative building before the end of the first quarter of 2026.
According to him, the two projects are part of a broader transformation initiative being implemented simultaneously within the council headquarters to enhance service delivery and improve the working environment for staff and legislators.
Sir Chidi Lloyd was accompanied during the inspection by the Leader of the Emohua Legislative Assembly, Hon. Love Nnyenke; the Councillor representing Ward 10, Hon. Uzuobor Oha; and the Chief of Staff to the Chairman, Barr. Peter Ugari.
