Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has petitioned the police to arrest social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) over allegations of defamation and theft accusation.
The move comes amid an ongoing online clash between the two figures, which escalated after Verydarkman released a diss track accusing the Zazoo Zeh crooner of having stolen a tricycle in the past.
Portable responded with his own diss track, making counter-allegations against the activist. However, the singer has now opted for legal action, demanding that VDM be held accountable by law.
In a viral video, Portable said:
“I don write petition against Verydarkman make them pick am from Abuja. If them no carry am jail am, Nigeria no go better. Na him be say Nigeria don Jaga Jaga…”
The singer maintained that his reputation has been severely damaged by the activist’s accusations and expressed frustration over what he described as targeted defamation.
The clash has sparked wide reactions on social media, with fans and critics of both men weighing in on the unfolding drama.
