Popular social media commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has launched a scathing attack on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, over the recent peace agreement reached in the political crisis in Rivers State.
In a viral video circulated on Monday and obtained by Elanhub Media, VDM described Wike as the “biggest oppressor and hypocrite” in Nigerian politics, accusing him of coercing Governor Siminalayi Fubara into accepting the peace deal brokered by President Bola Tinubu.
He criticised Wike for what he termed double standards, noting that the same Wike who once publicly opposed godfatherism during the tenure of former Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has now become the very embodiment of it in Rivers politics.
“The hypocrisy of Nyesom Wike is on another level,” VDM said. “Imagine a sitting governor calling himself ‘a boy’ — that tells you there’s no democracy under this system.”
VDM warned Nigerian politicians to be cautious of Wike’s influence, suggesting that his political maneuvers are self-serving. “Time is almost here,” he added cryptically, hinting at a possible reckoning.
