The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has dismissed the managing directors of its Port Harcourt, Warri, and Kaduna refineries in a sweeping reorganization led by newly appointed Group Chief Executive Officer, Bayo Ojulari, and Executive Non-Chairman, Musa Ahmadu-Kida.
Sources within the company confirmed to DAILY POST on Tuesday night that several senior officials have also been relieved of their duties. Among them is Bala Wunti, the former head of the National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS), a subsidiary of NNPCL.
In addition, employees with less than a year to retirement have reportedly been asked to vacate their positions as part of the leadership’s broader restructuring strategy. The changes mark the first major shake-up under the new management team.
