Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has opened up about his troubled marriage to estranged wife, Annie Macaulay, describing the union as a period of deep personal struggle.
In a teaser for an upcoming episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast, co-hosted by Nigerian comedians Nedu, Acapella, and South African media personality Kifilwe, the “African Queen” singer said his experience in the marriage felt like “living in bondage.” He further alleged that there were individuals who threatened his life during the relationship.
“This thing wey dem call ‘living in bondage’ is real. Some people were ready to kill me,” 2Face stated during the podcast, which is yet to be fully released.
The revelation comes amid ongoing speculation about the state of his marriage to Annie, with the couple previously making headlines for their turbulent relationship.
