Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Face or 2Baba, has admitted he has not fully lived up to his responsibilities as a father and says he is committed to improving.
The award-winning artiste made the disclosure during a recent episode of the Mic On podcast hosted by Seun Okinbaloye.
Reflecting on his personal life, the singer acknowledged the need to be more present and effective in his children’s upbringing. He has eight children from four women.
2Baba stressed the value of an active father figure and said he hopes to contribute more positively both to his family and to society at large. He added that making meaningful social impact remains one of his personal goals.
Despite speaking candidly about fatherhood, the music star maintained that he prefers to keep his private life out of the spotlight, noting that privacy remains important to him as he works on personal growth.
