29 inmates have been released from the Port Harcourt Correctional Centre by the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Simeone Amadi in celebration of Christmas.
The Judge said the exercise is in fulfilment of his promise at the last jail delivery exercise which he promised to make a periodic one.
He stated that the inmates released were those held for minor offences and advised them to shun crime and criminality.
The Chief Judge had few months ago released inmates at the Correctional Centre and promised to always carry out the exercise periodically.
