The People’s Democratic Party has thrown it’s support behind the 27 defected members of the Rivers State House of assembly, claiming that they remain members of the party.
A chieftain of the party and member representing Ideato Federal constituency in the House of Representatives Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere disclosed this during an interview on Arise News
According to him, the party is now claiming that the so called defection was a rumour and has not happened.
He noted that the party has gone to court to say the defection is null and void.
