Activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has alleged that Seyi Makinde is positioning himself to succeed Nyesom Wike as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in 2027.
Adeyanju also dismissed the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a distraction, claiming that many of its members are aligned with President Bola Tinubu.
In a video shared on social media, the human rights advocate said: “PDP is a distraction; what is dead may never die again. I don’t want to bother myself about PDP now because everybody there is working for Tinubu.
“They are just looking for who will have the most bargaining chip. Seyi Makinde wants to replace Wike and maybe he will become the next FCT minister in 2027.
“So it is more or less about how to make Tinubu return in 2027. I will not join them in their caricature; I don’t have their time
