Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has publicly declared his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.
Fayose, a chieftain of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made the endorsement on Monday during a political rally in Ekiti State. He also backed the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji and his deputy, both of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for a second term in office.
The former governor stated that his endorsement was without reservation, praising the leadership of both Tinubu and Oyebanji.
